During my trip to South Africa, I explored a world-class bouldering region - Rocklands. I had a pleasure to shoot an outstanding ascents of the hardest boulder problems made by Vadim Timonov. An article about those ascents was issued in japanese magazine “Rock and Snow” including my photographs.
KLETTERN NR 3/2017 Germany
It was a cold and windy February day, at Siurana, Catalunya, Spain. I was hanging in my harness at an altitude of 25 meters, for about three hours, as David Firnenburg was making his attempts to climb “La Rambla”, one of the hardest routes of the area. David eventually crushed the route and the story about his efforts and my pictures were featured in such a prestigious magazine as “klettern”!

It’s great to be featured in the second edition of the most famous climbing sticker album “CLIMBERS”. The photo printed in this issue was made during my trip to Switzerland and its most famous bouldering area — “Magic Wood”. I photographed an epic sending of the highball problem with a speaking name — “The Understanding” made by Vadim.
